If you read a lot of contemporary fiction and nonfiction that is well-reviewed by respected critics, then this book club is for you! For simplicity's sake, we will be choosing our titles from the New York Times notable books list from the past 2-3 years. Each month, we choose one fiction and one nonfiction title. Are you committed to writing? We are looking for serious wordsmiths to join our critique group located in Montgomery County, Maryland. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm in Olney, MD, at the Harris Teeter. Our meetings are about two hours in length. We have writers of different experience levels working in speculative, young adult, and dark fiction. We try to include a writing prompt at the end of every meeting.
