Are you committed to writing? We are looking for serious wordsmiths to join our critique group located in Montgomery County, Maryland. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm in Olney, MD, at the Harris Teeter. Our meetings are about two hours in length. We have writers of different experience levels working in speculative, young adult, and dark fiction. We try to include a writing prompt at the end of every meeting.

Southern Montgomery County Words and Wine is social book club for women in their 30s and 40s. We typically have two events a month – a book discussion and a social event. Each month we meet at a member's home or at a local restaurant to discuss our book selection. We spend about 30 minutes talking about the book while enjoying great food and a bottle of wine.
