This group is for support for the nonfiction writer. We have very different needs than fiction writers which we can support each other on. Like any other writers' group, we can pass around samples of our writing for critique and feedback. I write in the area of personal growth, but any nonfiction writing is welcome.

This group is for you if you are a writer at heart, regardless of where you are in your writing career and progress. I'm starting this group because I'm writing a non-fiction book, and I want to create a community of writers who will share their work and critique mine and each other's. The format I envision goes something like this: Who ever has material can either read their own out loud to the group or ask so …

Do you like to read? Do you like to drink? Then this is the book club for you! Once a month, we will meet in a bar to discuss a book we've all read. This way, we can socialize with other readers, unwind with a beer, and hear some great commentary on a work of fiction or nonfiction. Every month we'll discuss a different book, which will be announced ahead of time.
