This is a laid-back, relaxed and fun book club. We meet hold meetings twice a month, one fiction and one nonfiction. The responsibility of choosing the titles rests with the group members. We read anything... fiction, nonfiction, new releases, classics, whatever. In addition to two monthly meetings, we also meet occasionally for happy hour and/or dinner. A 2-hour long class once a week on Wednesdays In the first hour, the moderator brings in a topic related to poetry or prose (e.g., Metaphors Galore, Writing from the Deep Voice, Dialetic poems, Structuring your work, Subtext, etc), explains it and shows examples of it.
